The Solar System
The Manchester Astronomical Society is holding a NAW'96 event in the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester, The main subject will be the Solar System, with talks and slides giving a basic introduction. There will also be a display of members telescopes, with MAS members on hand to answer questions. Directions and admission rates for the Museum.
DATE: 22nd September (Sunday)
TIME: 11am - 4pm (museum open 10am - 5pm)
VENUE: Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester
CHARGE: free, but you will need to pay the normal admission rates for the Museum.
Godlee Observatory Open Evenings
The Godlee Observatory, UMIST, will be open to the public each evening, Monday to Friday inclusive. Slide shows. Telescope observation, weather permitting.

TIME: 7.30pm
VENUE: Godlee Observatory, UMIST, Sackville St, Manchester
